Yes. Your cat has an endocannabinoid system, just like every other vertebrate animal. Cannabinoids, like CBD, naturally support this system and produce a variety of wellness benefits.
No. Unlike THC, CBD is a non-psychoactive compound, meaning it has no intoxicating properties. Furthermore, our broad spectrum CBD products for cats all contain less than 0.1% THC by law.
For CBD tincture oils, simply feed your cat one dropper of tincture or mix it with their food.
Our cat CBD tincture comes in one strength, and should not be confused with dog or human tinctures with greater CBD strength. The serving size is one dropper, though we advise first-timers to start with a low dosage and work your way up until you find the effective serving size for your cat.
You’ll probably lose a finger if you try to get a cat to hold a CBD oil tincture under its tongue, as humans do with sublingual tinctures. So, you should consider it an edible. Edibles have to be absorbed through the digestive system before they can take effect, which could be anywhere from 20 minutes to two hours.
