Sacred Heart in Miami and was accepted into an Ivy League medical school her senior year of high school. She completed her bachelor’s in economics and medicine at Brown University through the combined Program in Liberal Medical Education. While at Brown, she received a scholarship to pursue clinical clerkships at one of the largest hospitals in the Middle East, Rambam (Rabbi Moshe Ben-Maimon) Medical Center in Haifa, Israel, through the Rappaport Faculty of Medicine of the Technion, Israel’s oldest university. She pursued a fellowship in dermatologic and laser surgery at the University of Miami and completed her surgical internship at Orlando Regional Medical Center in Orlando. She completed her dermatology residency at the LAC + USC Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, where she served as chief resident. At L.A. County, Dr. Chacon was exposed to a wide range of pathologies most other dermatology residents just read about in textbooks.

After graduating from residency, she worked in the ABC News Medical Unit in New York City as a medical journalist, reporting and covering breaking medical news nationwide and internationally. Throughout her career, she has been able to work at Asian Hospital & Medical Center and the Research Institute of Tropical Medicine, an authority by the Philippines Ministry of Health, to prevent and control tropical and infectious diseases in dermatology, including leprosy, Hansen’s disease, and HIV in Manila, the Philippines. She also has traveled internationally to see patients, present papers internationally, and further expand and broaden her education, knowledge and breadth in dermatology.

California, Davis with a degree in Zoology, he continued his studies at UC Davis and earned a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. With a lifelong love for animals and science, Dr. Raymond was pursuing more than a career — veterinary medicine was his dream.

Currently, Dr. Raymond practices veterinary medicine in Oregon, after 20 years of practicing private small-animal medicine in California. His background as a veterinary hospital owner, veterinary associate and relief veterinarian in various hospitals has given him experience with hundreds of nutraceuticals and supplements to improve the quality of life for dogs and cats.

Dr. Raymond loves the challenge of veterinary internal medicine, dermatology and helping people and their furry family through all of life’s ups and downs. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his two daughters and wife, family and Scuppy Puppy. In his spare time, Dr. Raymond enjoys soaking up the sunshine through outdoor activities, like hiking, gardening, and camping.

For almost 12 years, Dr. Rackham has advised and educated patients on how to best use their medication, safely and effectively. In 2017, he recognized the need and demand for CBD education in his own pharmacy. Realizing the potential health benefits that CBD could offer, he researched and sought out a high-quality CBD manufacturer, then established and grew the CBD portion of his business. Dr. Rackham quickly became an in-house CBD expert, providing guidance and counsel for proper use, including evidence-based indications, dosing, administration, side effects, drug interactions, and expectations of therapy.

In his spare time, he studies taekwondo with his son, plays in an ’80s rock cover band, and enjoys vacationing in Hawaii with his family.

Having practiced in multiple settings, from hospital to outpatient, Dr. Sahin has participated in multiple projects that have involved improving patient safety and quality of care. He has comprehensive experience and expertise in treating symptoms of acute disease, as well as chronic conditions and end of life care. With his background in palliative care, Dr. Yanik believes in not only treating the disease itself, but rather treating the whole person with dignity and respect.

Dr. Yanik was a recipient of the Art of Compassion award in 2011 and the Stellar Stethoscope in 2009, both by St. John’s Regional Medical Center.
